[Zombie City I]

For a first it's not bad...

...but...

Firstly, the urge to blam this was intense. It took all my willpower not to. Don't make stick movies. Don't continue this. Everytime someone spends hours to make a movie to only have shitty stick people in it, baby jesus cries until his eyes bleed.

Second, ditch the mainstream music. The Linkin Park and Slipknot just didn't work for this.

Lastly, did I mention, don't do stick people? I can't even bring myself to think about anything but the stick people in this because stick people are so horrid. Don't keep it up, and don't expect to get a good rating if you keep doing them.

The days where you can get a good rating with stick characters are long, long gone.

Good job, I rarely ever laugh at flash or anything, and that was so unexpected that I couldn't help but bust up when it happened. No problem with the art or animation, good sound quality, good work. xfd the rock really made that flash great.

Very impressive

While some people may complain it didn't have a story, or whatever any other number of things they could think of, I actually really enjoyed this. Something about it just took me in. Highly enjoyable, and I actually wouldn't mind seeing other things like this with different scenes and different songs. Keep it up!

5 MB, wtf?

It was somewhat amusing, but I mainly make this review to gripe about the fact that this flash is near 5 MB. This is nowhere anywhere near 5 MB worth of flash, and I don't know how you got it up that high. You need to optimize it a bit more and get its size down. That's MAYBE a 1 MB flash at best.

The main problem here is not that you used uncredited audio from elsewhere, but that what you actually did do not only was little, but actually took away from the whole thing.

Some of the text you added like the acronyms were pointless and really took me out of it. If you wanted a good rating you should have done *something* besides adding bland text.

The audio was pretty funny, but as you had nothing to do with its creation I just gave an overall score based upon your work, and I wasn't too into it.

Additionally, HOW IN GODS NAME DID THIS MAKE THE FRONT PAGE?

My first and for the most part only qualm is that the music was the most ungodly annoying thing I have heard in recent memory. Other than that it was pretty good. Question: Are those websites listed at the end your sources for this information? If not, this kind of thing should cite specific references if it's actual intent is to change people's minds about things.

Anyway, nice flash, good work, keep it up.

I liked what you were trying to do there

I enjoyed the style of it, but the story was really lacking. It came off like it was *supposed* to be frightening, but there was nothing that really made it so until near the end. There was no plot, just a lot of walking around some pretty plain non-frightening landscape, leading up to a conclusion that makes you think "...That's why I watched that guy walk around forever?"

So, points to improve upon:

1) The environment. It was just kind of there, and didn't really add to the atmosphere at all.

2) The story. Not entirely necessary, but if all else is lacking, you need at least some sort of story to keep interest. If you don't have a story to keep interest, you need suspense or something like that. Watching a guy walk around awhile is not suspensful.

3) The ending. Not bad in itself, but it was poor considering the boring lead up to it. It wasn't worth watching a guy pointlessly walk around just to see that end.

Overall though I like your style and I hope you keep it up. Just gotta work on it a little.

Why submit a trailer?

I had to rate it a 0 because it's just a trailer. Unless it's the most fantastic creation ever conceived by man there is no reason to submit something so short and unfinished. Are we supposed to be impressed with the stick people or the overplayed song?

No offense, the final movie may be good, but there was no reason to submit an incomplete version with no story or anything of interest in it to Newgrounds.

It was alright, but...

Good but some of the buttons seemed to lead to random scenes as opposed to actual deaths. And no choose your victim based upon highschool social groups is complete without being able to kill jocks.
